Windy City Smokeout Friday GA Ticket Sweepstakes 2024 Official Rules 

 

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS Sweepstakes. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING. Eligibility: Open to legal U.S. residents 18 years-of-age or older. Void where prohibited or restricted by applicable law, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.  Winners are responsible for any taxes, customs, duties, and like amounts connected with the prize.  

 

How to play: Starting at 10:00 AM CDT on June 1, 2024 and ending at 10:00 AM CDT June 10, 2024, enter for a chance to win Two General Admission tickets to the Friday July 12, 2024 Windy City Smokeout with a total approximate retail value of $189.07 by following Windy City Smokeout, @windycitysmokeout, and Bub City, @bubcity on Instagram, like the post and tag the friend you are bringing along in the comment section of the collaboration post June 1, 2024 at 

https://www.instagram.com/windycitysmokeout/ or  https://www.instagram.com/bubcity/ (“Promotion Sites”).   The Entrant will be the person owning the handle who has followed, liked and tagged. To enter without purchase: on a postcard or a card that is no smaller than 3 ½ x 5 inches and no larger than 4 ¼ x 6 inches, legibly handwrite your complete name, mailing address, email address, phone number and date of birth and mail with proper postage to: Friday GA Smokeout Bub City Sweepstakes, 5419 N. Sheridan Road, Suite 105, Chicago, IL 60640. All write-in entries must be postmarked by June 10, 2024, and received by 9:00 AM CDT June 14, 2024. There is a limit of one (1) write-in entry per envelope/postcard. Each envelope/postcard is considered one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. No mechanical reproductions will be accepted. Write-in entries must contain all entry fields outlined above; otherwise, they are void and will not be eligible to win. Windy City Smokeout is a four day music and food festival scheduled to take place July 11, 12, 13 and 14, 2024 at the parking lot adjacent to The United Center, 1901 W. Madison Street Chicago, Illinois. Prize tickets are for Friday July 12, 2024 only. No substitutions permitted.

 

The winner will be chosen randomly from all entries on or about 12:00 PM CDT June 14, 2024 and notified at or about that time by Instagram Direct Message.  Prize does NOT include travel, transportation or accommodations of any kind. The total approximate retail value of the prize is $189.12.  The approximate retail value of each ticket is $65.95 plus fees in the amount of $22.65 per ticket and taxes in the amount of $5.93 per ticket. Each ticket includes general admission to the event on the specified day only.  

 

How to claim your prize: The Winner will be notified June 14, 2024 on our about 12:00 PM CDT by Instagram Direct Message with all required details. Prize may be picked up at Bub City located at 435 N. Clark Street Chicago, IL or mailed to the winner in the discretion of winner.  The winner will be required to respond within 24 hours of sent message time.  Sponsor may require the prize winner to execute an affidavit of eligibility, publicity release (except where prohibited), liability waiver and/or IRS Form W-9 prior to the delivery of any prize (collectively, “Affidavit“).  If the prize winner is found to be ineligible, fails to respond within the applicable time period or execute the Affidavit or other documentation required by Sponsor and/or the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the Sponsor may consider such prize winner to have forfeited.  Sponsor shall have the option and not the obligation to randomly select another prize winner in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete or incorrect entries or notices even if due to human and/or Sponsor error.  Valid government issued identification required for in person prize pick up.

 

General Provisions: No prize substitutions allowed and no cash alternatives or refunds are available. Prizes are non-transferable. No Prize includes alcoholic beverages.  Except where prohibited by law, participation in this promotion and/or acceptance of any prize constitutes permission to use winner’s name, hometown, likeness and photograph for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation.

 

All Employees of Clark Hubbard LLC (“Sponsor”) and Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, Inc., their respective agencies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and members of the immediate families and household members of each are not eligible. Odds of winning prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.

 

This promotion is no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. Your entry to this contest constitutes a full and complete release of Facebook and Instagram from any and all liability related to this promotion. You are providing your information to Sponsor, and Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, Inc. and not to Facebook or Instagram. 

 

By participating, participants agree to abide by and be bound by these official rules and all Sponsor decisions. By participating and/or accepting the prize, participants/winners agree to release Sponsor and Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, Inc., and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, and agents as stated herein from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, and/or misuse of any prize or participation in this promotion or in prize-related activities and that Sponsor may use participant’s/winner’s name, likeness and submitted photograph for advertising and publicity purposes, in any and all media now or hereafter known, without further notice or compensation (except where prohibited by law). Winners acknowledge that neither Sponsor nor its agents have made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize.

 

Any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Promotion shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.  This Promotion shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Illinois, regardless of conflicts of laws principles. Any action or litigation concerning this Promotion shall take place exclusively in the federal or state courts sitting in Cook County, Illinois, and each Registered Participant expressly consents to the jurisdiction of and venue in such courts and waives all defenses of lack of jurisdiction and inconvenient forum with respect to such courts.  Each Registered Participant agrees to service of process by mail or other method acceptable under the laws of the State of Illinois. ANY CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND/OR AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ENTERING THIS PROMOTION.  REGISTERED PARTICIPANT HEREBY WAIVES ANY RIGHTS OR CLAIMS TO ATTORNEY’S FEES, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ENTRANT, WHETHER FORESEEABLE OR NOT AND WHETHER BASED ON NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE.
